Fulfill Your Potential in 2023 with Kundalini Awakening Yoga

Play This on Repeat

Trust, commitment, unconditional love, and support.

These are all things we say we want in a relationship. But what shows up in your relationships might look quite different, and I’ll tell you why…

I’m sure you know this Rolling Stones song, right? I’ve been playing it on repeat all summer because this refrain says it all…

You can’t always get what you want
You can’t always get what you want
You can’t always get what you want
But if you try sometimes you just might find
You just might find
You get what you need

And I’m sure you’ve heard that sometimes not getting what you want is a blessing.

How so?

You think you want one thing…but it’s not the best thing for you.

You keep attracting the wrong relationships…because there’s a lesson you still haven’t learned.

You say you want your relationships to be a certain way…but your actions tell a different story.

What does your heartbreak mean? What is it trying to tell you? What do you need?

When your trust is broken enough times, or when you’ve had enough of not being supported, you may finally come to understand that you’re attracting what you need to learn in your relationships.

You’re not getting exactly what you want…you’re getting what you need to learn from.

But it doesn’t have to be this way forever. You can break free of the patterns of the past. You can heal your relationships.

And it starts with giving yourself what you need.

In what ways are you not trusting yourself, not supporting yourself, and not fulfilling your commitments to yourself? Let’s start there…

In what ways have you betrayed yourself?

In what ways are you unsupportive of yourself?

In what ways are you unloving to yourself?

Whatever you’re searching for in others, it’s time to start giving it to yourself.

When you finally learn to honor who you are, support and commit to being your true self, only then will you find the love and support you need reflected back to you in others.

Intimate relationships are the most challenging ones in which to learn your lessons. You’re likely tempted to believe that if you could just “fix” the other person, or get them to be what you need, you’d finally be able to feel secure, safe, loved, and supported. Not true.

To deepen your relationships, you have to heal your relationship with yourself, and this is the work we’re about to do this fall in my Heal Your Heart Online course.

You don’t have to guess what to do, or keep struggling through alone. This is the system that takes you from deepening your relationship with yourself, to deepening your relationship with others. This is about true self-care…

And real self-care means far more than pampering or being kinder to yourself. It means being real and honest with yourself.

Sat Nam,

What really causes heartache

Do you have the hard conversations with your loved ones? You know, the ones where you express your truest desires, set healthy boundaries, and say the words that must be said….

Only those must-have conversations take place only in your head…The words never actually make it out of your mouth and into their ears.

Or maybe the words do make it out…

Instead of a face-to-face, heart-to-heart conversation, it’s a heated text exchange…you fire back and forth at each other, in a destined-to-fail attempt to resolve important issues.

But texting is just how it’s done these days, right? Maybe to remind someone to pick up a gallon of milk, definitely not for relationship-impacting issues.

Why? Because your texts can be cold and cryptic, and so can your partner’s. It’s one of the worst forms of communication for deep issues.

Why is it so hard to have these conversations…about love, relationships, boundaries, desires…in the right way?

Because expressing what’s in your heart is allowing yourself to be fully seen.

It takes a lot of courage to express what’s in your heart.

When you speak from courage, you can’t hide behind texting any longer. And you can’t carry on conversations in your head only to freeze when it comes to having them in real life.

Allowing yourself to be fully seen through healthy self-expression is how you build relationships based on your truth. And this is a key step in learning to Heal Your Heart.

Heartache is a result of not being true to yourself in your relationships. When you constantly hide who you are solely to please others, you build relationships on a stack of lies.

Your need to be liked and accepted is a powerful driving force for your behaviours. It takes courage to risk being seen for who you really are.

Are you willing to risk the relationship you have for the more fulfilling one you crave?

You don’t have to do this work alone. The Kundalini yoga and meditation techniques you experience in my online immersion, Heal Your Heart, breakthrough your fear of rejection and strengthen your sense of self, so you can learn to express yourself fully and build relationships based on the truth of who you are.

A key component of the course is third chakra activation because your third chakra is responsible for your courage and sense of self.

It takes courage to have open and honest conversations with the ones you love. It can leave you feeling raw and exposed. But incredible healing happens when you get up the courage to have those difficult conversations.

So, my questions for you are:

Where are you withholding your truth – for fear of what it might do to your relationship?

Is there some aspect of yourself you’re hiding for fear of rejection?

And are you willing to call on your courage to change?

Sat Nam,

You Know What You Need…

Over the past couple of months, I’ve shared my personal journey with yoga practice, and how it led me to create the four Self-Mastery Series courses which are…

● Crystallize Your Vision
● Breakthrough Your Blocks
● Heal Your Heart
● Master Your Mind

In this short video, I share how all four courses work together to create change in all of the areas of your life:

In the video I share:

● How the courses form a system that helps you breakthrough your barriers, experience true intimacy, learn to live by the guidance of your higher consciousness, and end self-sabotage for good.
● Why my favourite part about the whole process is our community.
● Why the Self-Mastery Series is both self-led and supported — and how to know which course is right for you now.

Sat Nam,

The Real Reason You Aren’t Meditating

Meditation is everywhere right now…in your social feeds, at your local yoga studio, and even on the cover of Time magazine.

And for many of us (even yoga teachers), it’s a wonderful concept…but are we actually meditating? And what about accessing that sometimes elusive state of flow — you know, when you lose all sense of time because you’re so engrossed in an activity you love.

Based on my experiences in the yoga world, with students and teachers alike, I can tell you — no.

We all like the idea. We all know the benefits. We all want to meditate or access flow.

So, what’s in the way of developing a consistent practice?

In this short video, I share how to dial into a deeper wisdom accessed only when you’re in a meditative or flow state:

watch now

In the video I share:

● The real reason you’ve struggled to start or maintain a consistent meditation practice — and it has nothing to do with “monkey mind” or external distractions
● Why you won’t experience true deep-state immersion with most common meditation techniques — and how to accelerate your absorption into meditative states
● The difference between a little bit of mediation and consistent practice — and what it means for you

Sat Nam,

Do you trust yourself to make decisions?

You might have heard not to make decisions based on emotions…
I’m here to tell you — using your “thinking” mind to make decisions is hit or miss — whether you’re being rational, or emotional. Let me explain…

Your intellect tries to justify any decisions you make, based on how you’re feeling.

Here’s how it plays out:

● I wake up feeling great — and everything is possible!
● I wake up feeling tired and cranky — and everything feels like a struggle!

So, how do you get out of this trap? In this short video, I share how to understand the temporary nature of your feelings and rise above them to find truth:

watch now

In the video I share:

● How to access guidance deeper than the intellect — and why you might doubt these messages
● Why you don’t trust yourself to make decisions — even if you think you’re the one calling the shots
● What happens when trust and faith in yourself erodes — and how your body eventually rebels

Sat Nam,

Why Love Feels Like a Struggle

Let’s talk about love.

What image or thoughts immediately popped into your mind?

Maybe your romantic partner, or spouse.
Maybe your children.
Maybe your pets.

These are all normal responses. And I wonder if you also had any of these instant reactions…

Love is HARD.
Love hurts.
Let’s NOT talk about love, Gloria.

I get it. I went through a time in my life when I didn’t want to examine my role in my relationship. I was entirely focused on either blaming my partner outwardly, or seething inwardly. I didn’t want to face the “real” issues. And besides, I thought all the “real” issues were his.

I’m not afraid to say: I was wrong! Let me tell you why…

In this short  video, I share how developing true intimacy with another person means examining your relationship with yourself:

In the video I share:

● What those aspects you can’t stand in others really mean about you
● Why “self-love” is overrated — and what to focus on instead
● How healing your heart is the elusive key to finding balance in all areas of your life

Sat Nam,

Why You Quit Before You Reach Your Goals

We’ve all been there…flush with the excitement of a new goal….

You have the best of intentions.
You have a plan.
You have support.
You’re raring to go.

Fast forward to a month or so later…

And you’ve given up. How many times have you promised yourself that you were going to do something and never saw it through?

Zero judgment here (been there many times).

And in my over 20 years of teaching, I’ve noticed the same pattern in my students. They start out so engaged, committed, and enthusiastic about their dreams, but it doesn’t last long. As soon as an obstacle appears, they’re too quick to give up.

Maybe you can relate?

In this short video, I share how to stop quitting on yourself and start reaching your goals instead:

watch now

In the video I share:

● The real reasons you’re not following through on your goals — and how to change it
● What the “law of attraction” leaves out — and how to truly get what you want in life
● What is called “stinking thinking” — and how cleaning it up clears the path to your breakthrough

Sat Nam,

From the Inside Out

If you’ve taken most any yoga class, you’ve heard a lot of cues about your external alignment… Line the toes of your back foot up with the arch of your front foot. Imagine pulling a cord from the base of your spine through the crown of your head.

This external alignment is part of most yoga styles and can help prevent injury. The problem is — many think this is all there is to yoga — a series of poses you master.

The part of Kundalini Yoga that changed my life, and the lives of so many of my students, isn’t anchored in perfectly holding a pose. It’s the intersection between the physical practice, and the internal practice, the focus on the movement of your energy inside your body.

That’s why Kundalini Yoga is different. It doesn’t include many of the traditional poses because the alignment we focus on is internal…not external.

In this short video, I share how internal alignment creates harmony between who you really are and how you’re showing up in your life:

watch now

In the video I share:

● The differences between internal and external alignment — and why you can’t focus on one alone
● Why being the physical embodiment of yoga isn’t the ultimate goal — and what happens when your inner alignment is off-kilter
● What I mean when I say, “Raise your Kundalini Energy”

Sat Nam,

Are you going after the right goals?

Change is hard, right?

Robin Sharma, the author of the Monk Who Sold his Ferrari describes it this way. He says, “All change is hard at first, messy in the middle and so gorgeous at the end.”

Here’s what I know about change: Your efforts to change will be met with challenges — both internal and external.

I saw this in myself and in my students. We’d get excited, determined, and jump into our goals, only to fall flat a few weeks, or months later. Why?

Because the vision wasn’t compelling enough. When you create a powerful vision for your “gorgeous end,” it acts like a magnetic force, giving you the energy, and pulling you toward it through the inevitable challenges.

That’s exactly why I created my Self-Mastery Series, specifically Crystallize Your Vision, which is designed to help you get crystal clear on your dream and begin a process to manifest it.

In this short video, I share how to create a vision for your future that’s so compelling, it pulls you through the “messy middle” of change:

watch now

In the video I share:

● How to unlock your dream — your life’s purpose — that’s already encoded inside of you
● Why the typical goal-setting exercises fall short — and may even have you chasing someone else’s goals
● How to discover what part of you is dictating your goals — and why it might be based on fear or ego
● And what it means when pursuing your goals leaves you exhausted and burned out

Sat Nam,

Stop trying to meditate…try this instead

I felt conflicted in my studies of Kundalini Yoga but didn’t want to quit because of the life-changing benefits I was experiencing.

Here’s the thing, before you can get the benefits, you have to do the practice. (And I say practice, instead of class intentionally.)

Before I could get any benefits, I had to let go of my ideas about exercise, yoga, and what it should look and feel like.

Kundalini Yoga takes many first-time students by surprise. But if you stick with it, you’ll soon be convinced of its power.

In this short video, I share why even dedicated yoga teachers struggle for years to develop a consistent meditation practice, and what I do instead to experience deep states of peace:

watch now

In the video I share:

● How Kundalini Yoga accelerates subconscious cleansing while strengthening your nervous system
● Why facing what was once buried and hidden fuels your personal growth
● Why I disagreed with my teachers because I wanted to make Kundalini Yoga more accessible

Sat Nam,
