Left unchecked, a bad habit can easily become an addictive behavior – whether that be too much TV, too little sleep, overworking, or over-indulging in some way.
The thing about addictive behaviours is that they effectively “numb” us out, so we are less present in our own lives. They may feel satisfying in the moment, but in truth, they are robbing you of the richness of experience that’s available to you.
