Stop the worry loop

If your mind is anxious, your body will follow.

Pent-up stress resides in your body and your mind and can lead to chronic aches and pains, digestive issues, and sleep problems.

Kundalini Awakening Yoga can help free your body to free your mind, clearing away layers of toxic stress.

Click here’s for a quick practice specifically designed to help!

This class was filmed just before the Freedom from Fear course got underway, but I’m willing to bet you may need it right now. It’s a quick, freeing, and cathartic practice to help you stop the loop of anxious, worrisome thoughts.

What it really means if you’re controlling in relationships

Can a chakra be too strong?

Yes. When it comes to your third chakra, too much strength equals too much ego. An overpowering third chakra can even make you a bully in your relationships.

On the flip side, a weakness in the third chakra leads to a poor sense of self and playing the victim in your relationships. You may find yourself constantly striving to do more and be more to prove your worth.

Click here to watch a brief video where I share:

• Why awakening your Kundalini energy is the key to becoming magnetic to love…

• The real cause of control issues in relationships and how we use control as a coping mechanism for this emotion…

• Signs of a third-chakra imbalance, how it presents itself in your relationships, and one simple exercise to balance it…

What are you really hungry for?

Have you found yourself standing in front of the fridge or pantry a lot more during the last few months?

If so, you’re not alone.

In fact, it may even feel like there’s a part of you that wants to be fed all the time.

That’s a strong clue that you have a second-chakra imbalance…and an emotional hunger that’s NEVER going to be satisfied by food.

Click here to watch a brief video where I share:

• More about the second chakra, which is responsible for your sexuality, passion, and creativity, and how it’s connected to cravings, desires, and habits…

• The real problem with using emotional eating, or other habits, to numb our feelings and how it affects our relationships…

• A simple breathing exercise you can do anytime, anywhere to curb the urge to eat mindlessly…

Help for a strained relationship

It’s easy to ignore issues when we’re busy running from one thing to the next.

But what happens when we’re forced to slow down?

The issues rush to the surface, and you can no longer ignore what’s not working in your life, and in your relationships.

As many of us have been isolating at home with our partners, all of those issues we’ve ignored, the tough conversations we’ve refused to have…it all comes bubbling up.

Although it’s triggering, this surfacing can actually be good and productive.

Because you can only heal your relationship by facing and moving through what’s not working.

Click here to watch a brief video where you’ll learn:

  • Why working with the seven key energy centres in your body, the chakras, is so important, and how each one of them relates to a different level of consciousness and a spiritual life lesson…
  • Why the lower chakras take over in times of insecurity and uncertainty and how a first-chakra imbalance presents itself as fear, and its destructive power in your relationships…
  • A meditation to heal your nervous system and release the fear that has built up the last few months, so you can open your heart to love and compassion…

Overwhelmed? Try this…

It’s hard to change. At least that’s what we tell ourselves.

The truth is anyone can create change.

But what holds most of us back is how we feel.

We focus on taking action, without considering our emotions. Then we find ourselves frustrated, overwhelmed, and unable to make progress.

When your emotions don’t align with your aspirations, you’ll sabotage your efforts.

And if you feel like your emotions control you, not the other way around, you’ll struggle to take action and get results…

Click here to watch a brief video where I share:

• How your chakra system affects everything in your body, from your physical state to your emotions…
• Why moving your body is the key to changing your mind…
• An energy-directing exercise to prove that you have the power to change how you feel instantly…

The real reason I do so many squats

If you’ve ever taken one of my classes, you know I incorporate a lot of squats.

Why is that?

Squats do so much more than strengthen your lower body. They offer other important physical and emotional benefits too.

That’s why there are so many squats in my classes.

Click here to watch a brief video where I share:

• How squats tap into your first chakra, which is essential to feeling grounded…

• Why being fully present, instead of mentally “checking out,” is the key to moving through life’s stressful experiences…

• The type of person who needs grounding exercises most…

I’d never been asked this before…

One of the most common questions I get from my students is: Can I skip the relaxation at the end of the practices?

That’s why it surprised me when one of my students recently asked if she could extend this part of the practice, the deep relaxation called “savasana” in yoga.

My answer: YES. Please stay in savasana for as long as you like.

There’s no problem extending savasana. But if you skip it, you’re cheating yourself.

I used to skip it too. I was simply too busy to “just lie there,” and I was always running from one thing to the next.

Turns out, I was missing out on the best part of my practice…

Click here to watch a brief video where I share:

• Why savasana is considered THE most important pose to practice and can also be the most difficult…

• The long list of tangible health benefits from savasana, and why it’s especially important after a Kundalini Yoga practice…

• How savasana acts as a buffer between your practice and your next activity…

What second guessing is really costing you

Do you suffer from a case of the endless what if’s?

“What if I don’t get the job? What if I get it, and my new boss is horrible?”

“What if I try this and I fail? What will everyone think?”

Of course, you should weigh important life decisions. But overanalyzing, second-guessing, and playing the “what if” game won’t actually help you make a decision.

Instead, they keep you stuck in a cycle of indecision, doubt, and worry, and that is mentally exhausting.

It’s much more mentally taxing to stay in this place of indecision, than it is to make a decision and move on…

Click here to watch a brief video where I share:

• Why chronic indecision, overanalyzing, and second-guessing show up in your life, and how this bad habit can rob you of success…

• The big mistake most people make when trying to break a thought pattern or mental habit, and what to do instead…

• How third-chakra activation can build your decision-making confidence and activate your intuition…

If you’re a perfectionist… you need to try this

When you start boldly going after your dreams, all of your mindset blocks and limiting subconscious beliefs pop up everywhere

One of the biggest mindset blocks I see is perfectionism.

When you expect nothing but perfection from yourself, you build barrier after barrier between you and your dreams because you don’t want to fail.

And this perfectionism leads to overthinking, procrastination, and info-hoarding. You think if you just learn more, master another skill, or find the perfect course/app/system, THEN you’ll give yourself permission to move forward.

The tricky part is…all of this “perfecting” makes you feel productive, but in reality, it gets you nowhere.

Click here to watch a video where I share

• How perfectionism creates anxiety, is a factor in addictions, and can even block you from feeling the full benefits of your yoga practice…
