    Yoga Is A Universal Language

    By Gloria

I took my first yoga class in Spanish, while in Mexico last week.

I have now taken classes in English, Greek and Spanish.

The first two languages I can navigate my way around, but Spanish is new to me.

What I found interesting was how irrelevant the words seemed at the time.

There is a mood that is created, the moment a yoga class begins. From the first collective breath, with an intention set to find stillness, and strength, there is a palpable energy created that is beyond language.

The tone of the teacher’s voice, the grace with which she moved around the class, and the way she lovingly assisted students in their poses, was more powerful than any words spoken.
A yoga class is a collection of what each individual brings to it, combined with the heartfelt guidance of the teacher.

    Feel more, talk less.
