Gurmukh, the queen of Kundalini Yoga

    By Gloria

Vanity Fair, dubbed Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa, the queen of Kundalini Yoga in its May 2007 feature on “Spiritual Stretching.”  Gurmukh has long been my favourite teacher and mentor. For years, I have travelled to  attend various workshops with her, whether she is teaching as close as Los Angeles or as far away as London.

When Gurmukh teaches, you feel she is speaking directly to you, heart to heart, no matter where you are, even when you’re watching her on youtube. Her presence is magnetic because she is all heart. A tiny, toned, beautiful woman with a huge heart! Her messages are encouraging, always positive, and very inspiring. She helps restore your faith in humanity and in yourself.

In addition to teaching tirelesly around the globe, Gurmukh and her husband Gurushabd, run the largest yoga studio in North America, Golden Bridge Yoga.

Gurmukh will be teaching at Semperviva April 10th and 11th.  Workshop titles include, ” A Life Without Fear,” and “Learn to Heart the Voice of Your Own Soul.”  A student once commented that Gurmukh’s workshops felt like being dipped in a giant vat of positivity. If it’s some positive energy your after, come and join the fun. Yes, the workshops will be hard work, but lots of fun too. Hope to see you there!
